At Jack’s Caregiver Coalition, we are deeply grateful for the support of our community partners, and the University of Minnesota Cancer Center is one we hold especially dear. Their commitment to caregivers and those navigating the cancer journey is evident in everything they do, and we are honored to collaborate with them in serving this community.

In 2024, the University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center graciously hosted CaregiverCONx, providing a welcoming and supportive space for caregivers to connect, learn, and find encouragement. We are thrilled to announce that they will once again host CaregiverCON 2025 on November 1st, continuing their legacy of championing caregiver support.

A special thank you goes out to Liz Danley and Lissa Martinez Huebner, who play an instrumental role in organizing conferences and events for the University of Minnesota’s Survivorship programs. Their dedication, attention to detail, and passion for caregiver well-being make each event a meaningful experience for attendees. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of attending an event they’ve coordinated, you know the warmth and care they bring to every aspect of the experience.

We encourage you to sign up for CaregiverCON 2025 and witness firsthand the incredible work of Liz, Lissa, and the entire University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center team. Their hospitality ensures that every caregiver who walks through the doors feels welcomed, valued, and supported.

We hope you can join us for CaregiverCON 2025, on November 1st—Mark your calendars!

In 2012,  doctors diagnosed my husband, Dan, with stage IV lung cancer. Since then, our family has been learning what it means to face cancer. I’ve focused my writing and speaking on helping cancer patients and their families advocate for themselves and live life to the fullest, despite their illness. My goal is to help people face cancer with grace.
