Spotlight on Gilda's Club Minnesota
Gilda’s Club Minnesota has been around for about as long as Jack's Caregiver Coalition and I (Jeff) am lucky enough to have been part of the incredible organization since it opened its doors. Gilda’s was instrumental in helping me through my second go-around as a caregiver.
Stop on in, and if you don’t get a warm hug, you will likely feel like you have received one. Katherine Todd and her staff understand support on a cellular level.
One of the many things that I love about Gilda’s Club is the variety of choices it offers for those facing cancer. Their daily list of activities offers practical and just plain fun offerings that give those facing a cancer crisis a say in HOW they receive support. Gilda’s is in my “elevator” speech every time I meet a new Caregiver at Jack’s.
