Spotlight On Logan Greene, Volunteer Appreciation Week 2021

 

I first met Logan in January 2020. He had just learned about his loved one's diagnosis and engaged with us right away. That quickness to reach out, unfortunately, is a rare thing for us as an organization to experience. More often than not, guys have been doing the caregiver thing for years before they find the courage to reach out. Earlier this year Logan accepted the challenge to become the administrator of our "Jacks Only" private Facebook group. He recently shared his thoughts on that initiative in this blog post. We are honored and humbled by Logan's energy and enthusiasm for our mission and for his ongoing support as one of our key volunteers!

Logan, Why Do You Volunteer For Jack's?

I volunteered to give back to the group that has given so much to me in my time of need and uncertainty. A year ago I was headed into a fight I knew nothing about and I was able to find peace in a group of guys who had been exactly where I was. I hope I can be of help to other guys the way they helped me.
