"I love this picture of Rylie. She's "in the zone" at our first ever in-person gathering last year during the pandemic. To put this in perspective Rylie has led the marketing efforts for our annual fall fundraiser for years (formerly known as JCBC and now known as Cold Ones 4 Caregivers). The pressure to get stuff done when you're on a big event planning committee can sometimes overwhelm people. We all know the feeling, you made some promises to the team and "Oh no!" - the meeting is tomorrow, yikes, - gotta knock some stuff out quick! But Rylie never just knocks stuff out. No matter the pressure she's under she remains squarely focused on bringing creativity and excellence to her work. Like listening to hours and hours of podcasts to pull out those compelling quotes that really capture the essence of the caregiver's stories.

And I'll never forget last year when we were under the gun at our first ever hybrid virtual and in-person fundraiser. The virtual part was bombing big time and we had invested so much planning into that part of our program!  Me, I'm a nervous wreck, trying my best to remain calm and pretend I'm not crying inside. And then there's Rylie who pulls out her phone and starts streaming! And she's right there in front of me, with a HUGE smile on her face telling me "We're good! We got this!"

If you know Rylie you know she exudes joy and confidence. She does it all the time, even when things aren't going according to plan. We are blessed beyond measure to have her leadership again this year, to have her cheering us all on, no matter how difficult things get, with that huge smile on her face, confidently reminding us, "We're good guys! We got this!"
