My identity prior to my cancer experience was that of a hardworking, kind of abrasive, in your face, get it done, no excuses kinda guy. I think people were fairly intimidated by me. One of my partners pretty much avoided any confrontation because he knew it was gonna be an outright battle and I wasn’t gonna lose. But anyone who’s faced the challenge of caring for a loved one with cancer will tell you that it challenges you to grow. It’s made me a way better boss. A way better husband. A way better father. A way better person. I’m a lot more empathetic than I ever was. I continue to find more opportunities to just be humble and caring and compassionate.

Jills receive:

  • Free admission to our coed programs including the Caregiver Klatch and the Sequel Maker's Klatch.
  • Opportunity to have a Cariloop Coach.​ Cariloop coaches are healthcare experts and can help you navigate the healthcare system as a caregiver.
  • Most current edition of our  Playbook.​

  • Feel a tangible connection to our mission, knowing that you are equipping caregivers to play their critical role and that you are reducing the burden of cancer for the loved ones they care for.
  • Sponsor specific events or programming as an individual or as an organization/business.

How our members help other members

​Many of our members offer monthly support to sustain the mission of Jack's Caregiver Coalition and ensure Caregivers and Sequel Makers get programming that restores them and helps them to be their for their loved ones every day. Here are some examples of what sustaining support can do.

​$10-$24 per month

Covers the cost of a Klatch that 6-8 caregivers or Sequel Makers can attend.

$25-$49 per month

Covers the meal costs for 8-12 members, so they can unwind and talk freely about life as caregivers or Sequel Makers.

​$50 - $74 per month

Covers the average cost of serving one caregiver for an entire year.

$75 - $99 per month

Lets you sponsor an all-inclusive Caregiver Event. Be it Indoor Skydiving, Whirlyball, Axe Throwing, or some other great opportunity. Help give these guys have an experience they'll never forget!

$100 per month

Enables you to sponsor multiple programs and create opportunities for us to deploy new programming to accelerate our mission.
